Moving off MoneyLender is a Tuesday afternoon, not a project.
The reason people stay on servicing software they've outgrown is almost never the software. It's the thought of re-keying two hundred loans and getting a balance wrong. So we built the import to do the work and to let you check it before anything becomes real.
How the import actually works
Every payment, in order
Your borrowers, loans, payments, fees, and adjustments come over and get replayed chronologically. We don't import a balance and call it done, because a balance with no history behind it can't be audited later.
You review before anything is created
The analyze step matches each loan to a tract in your inventory by account number and flags what it isn't sure about. Nothing is written until you say so.
Every issue gets a reason
Problems are graded as a blocker, a warning, or a note, each with an explanation and what to do about it. You're not staring at a red X with no next step.
Fix many at once
Set a subdivision alias one time and it resolves every loan that was tripping on the same naming difference. Borrowers are de-duplicated against clients you already have.
It survives you closing the laptop
The commit runs in the background and the session picks up where it left off. Start it Friday afternoon and it's still there Monday.
If it isn't right, undo it
Revert the whole import and try again. That's the part that makes it safe to just run it and look, instead of scheduling a migration.
What you get that you didn't have
Your buyers pay online by bank or card and can turn on auto-draft themselves, in a portal with no password to forget. Reminders go out by text and email, in English or Spanish. Late fees apply themselves on the schedule you set.
When a deal goes bad, your notice mails itself certified with tracking. Year-end 1098s are prepared and submitted for e-filing through our filing partner.
And it's one flat price instead of a fee per loan per month, so the bill doesn't grow every time you close another deal.
Not on MoneyLender?
The self-serve wizard reads MoneyLender Professional 3 exports today. That's the only source it handles on its own, and I'd rather say that plainly than have you upload something and find out.
If you're coming from something else, or from a spreadsheet, book a time with me and bring whatever export you have. It is usually less work than it looks.
